Patient consistency and involvement in correcting their bad oral hygiene habits are the keys to successful dental treatment.

Aula DENTAID, the DENTAID training area, has successfully completed the latest cycle of courses for hygienists, with participation of over 1,000 practitioners in nine different Spanish cities. These courses focused on highlighting the importance of introducing patients to new habits, as well as offering hygienists tools to help motivate their patients, and transfer to them the responsibility for their own treatment success.

The new practical organization of each Aula DENTAID session managed to captivate and inspire all those attending, who rated the classroom dynamics and the main concepts covered very positively.

XVI COURSE ON RESEARCH METHODOLOGY IN PERIODONTICS AND OSSEOINTEGRATION

Periodontology professors and postgraduate students at the leading national dentistry schools will meet at the XVI Course on Research Methodology in Periodontics and Osseointegration with one common goal: to continue improving and fostering research in periodontics. The next event is scheduled for March 10th and 11th at the University of Oviedo.

This year, the Course on Research Methodology in Periodontics and Osseointegration will focus on the latest developments regarding the role of bacteria in periodontal disease. Directed by professors Dr. Sicilia and Dr. Tejerina, and coordinated by professors Dr. Sanz and Dr. Herrera, this meeting, which has had the unwavering support of DENTAID since its outset, has become an international reference event in the field of periodontics research.
