Oral biofilm and its consequences: evidence-based preventive strategies
DENTAID, leading company in the field of oral health, together with the Spanish Society of Periodontology and Osseointegration (SEPA), are organising the second SEPA-DENTAID Symposium, a top level scientific event addressed to dental hygienists. This time, the symposium will focus on oral biofilm and its consequences: evidence-based preventive strategies.
A comprehensive scientific programme has been developed to shed light on what biofilms are and how they are organised. Attending hygienists will learn firsthand the mechanism of action of biofilm in gingivitis, periodontitis and halitosis, as well as in peri-implant mucositis and peri-implantitis as well as their impact on pregnant women and on cardiovascular risk.
Coinciding with Expodental, the Symposium will be held on Saturday, March 15th at the Palacio Municipal de Congresos – Campo de las Naciones in Madrid where over 1,500 professionals are expected to gather.
