“The Dentist and the Dental Hygienist: A Unique Team” is the theme of the fourth edition of the Symposium. 

The Spanish Society of Periodontology and Osseointegration (SEPA) and DENTAID are joining once again to hold the fourth SEPA-DENTAID Symposium. 

The fourth edition of this scientific meeting of reference for oral health professionals is scheduled for Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the emblematic Capitol theatre on the Gran Vía thoroughfare in Madrid. The central focus of the meeting will be “The Dentist and the Dental Hygienist: A Unique Team,” a tandem that must work together in sync to improve patients’ health by building on solid scientific foundations. 

Chaired by Dr. Agustín Casas and Dr. Xavier Calvo, we will take a tour of periodontal and peri-implant diseases, with a focus on the improvement of both prevention and treatment, as well as a general view of the impact of periodontal health on overall health. 

The speakers are renowned experts, well able to transmit scientific consistency in an engaging manner. In addition, on this occasion we have approached the symposium with a more attractive, dynamic formula, as if it were a television program, with videos that will help transmit knowledge as compellingly as possible. 

Since its launch in 2012, the Symposium has reflected the innovative nature of both organisations, which together have contributed to the consistent growth of dentistry and periodontics from two standpoints: science and health.
