A toothbrush is the basis for good oral hygiene, and its filaments are of vital importance during brushing, as their function is to remove bacterial plaque (oral biofilm) effectively, without damaging tooth enamel, and therefore preventing the leading plaque-related complications: caries, gum disease, halitosis, etc.
In order for filaments to carry out their job properly, they must be of very high quality and they must be kept in good condition.
VITIS® have uniform Tynex® filaments which are end-rounded and textured. These special qualities allow for improved control of bacterial plaque (oral biofilm), by facilitating access to all spaces and enhancing protection of both gums and tooth enamel.
On the contrary, the filaments of some toothbrushes found in supermarkets are not uniform and can harm gums, while not effectively controlling plaque.
These distinctions make all the difference when it comes to achieving good oral health.
