The composition of Interprox® Gel and its specific properties allow it to quickly penetrate the interproximal space to prevent the onset of caries and reddened gums.
It reduces the formation of biofilm in interproximal spaces, thanks to the anti-plaque action of Cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC), which is reinforced by the action of zinc lactate. It prevents the onset of caries thanks to the sodium fluoride content, and cares for and protects the gums through the action of the zinc lactate and of allantoin.
It is a non-abrasive gel that is gentle on the surface of the teeth, and is especially indicated for application with interproximal brushes, ensuring that the active ingredients reach all the interproximal spaces.
Cetylpyridinium Chloride (0.3%)
Prevents the formation of plaque.
Zinc lactate (0.14%)
Increases the substantivity of CPC, taking care of and protecting the gums. Fights bad breath.
Allantoin (0.10%)
Helps keep gums healthy, preventing redness, and reduces oral biofilm build-up.
Sodium fluoride (1,450 ppm)
Remineralises enamel and prevents tooth decay.
Non-abrasive gel
Respects the dentine surface and acts as a lubricant to facilitate penetration and movement of the brush between teeth.
Interprox® Gel is indicated for use with interproximal brushes.
Choose the most suitable interproximal brush size for each space. Then apply the gel directly to the brush—it is important for the brush to move freely so it is the filaments of the brush, and not the wire, that are in contact with the teeth.
Move the brush in and out, without twisting it. For best results, take turns inserting the brush from either side.
For proper hygiene between the teeth, repeat these steps for each interproximal space, rinsing the brush after each use.
Once brushing of the interproximal spaces is completed, rinse the brush thoroughly with water to remove any remaining Interprox® Gel.
