Dental erosion is when enamel is eaten away by an acid medium in the mouth. The consumption of certain soft drinks or sodas, certain fruits, wine, etc. may lead to enamel erosion because of their acidity. More and more soft drinks, packaged juices and similar products are consumed in our society, which, in addition to containing large amounts of sugar, are acidic and can cause erosion.
When dental erosion occurs, enamel gradually dissolves and becomes thinner, which may lead to other dental conditions such as sensitivity and staining; hence the importance of the prevention of dental erosion.
VITIS® offers an innovative solution which helps prevent tooth decay effectively, and at the same time, protects tooth enamel against erosion. VITIS® anticaries gives you the opportunity to offer your customers a different solution.

Hydroxyapatite nanoparticles
* Repair, strengthen and remineralise tooth enamel.
* Form a protective, acid erosion-resistant coating.
* Combine with fluoride to form fluorapatite, a compound that is more resistant to dental erosion.
Xylitol at a specific concentration
* Reduces the formation of bacterial plaque, thus reducing acid production and neutralising acid pH
Fluoride
* Favours remineralisation of the enamel
REMEMBER:
Athletes regularly consume energy drinks and isotonic gels during their training routines, which also increases risk of tooth decay. Recommend a solution to help them prevent both tooth decay and erosion!
