Perio·Aid® has updated its image in order to differentiate the range of products that comprises it.
Perio·Aid® is the oral antiseptic
indicated for periodontal and peri-implant disease treatment and maintenance. Its unique formulation, containing the combination of
two antiseptics, Chlorhexidine (CHX) and Cetylpyridinium Chloride (CPC), provides
maximum efficacy in the treatment and control of periodontal and peri-plant
diseases.
PERIO·AID® PRESENTS TWO DIFFERENT CONCENTRATIONS THAT GUARANTEE THE BEST SOLUTION IN EVERY SITUATION.
WHEN CARE IS NEEDED
Perio·Aid® 0.12 Treatment. (CHX 0.12% + CPC 0.05%)
- Used for active infections, it helps
to TREAT periodontal and/or peri-implant disease, as it assists in the
elimination of the pathogenic biofilm that causes these diseases.
- Available in various forms according to use and indication:
- Gel. Formulation used for application as a dental gel with a toothbrush, and as a topical gel for application with gauze or a clean finger in areas requiring antiseptic protection.
- Spray. Especially indicated for hard-to-reach areas (for example the rear of the oral cavity) or for those who cannot properly use mouthwash.
WHEN CONTROL IS NEEDED
Perio·Aid® 0.05 Maintenance and Control. (CHX 0.05%+ CPC 0.05%)
- Helps keep pathogenic biofilm UNDER
CONTROL daily, and can be used long term with minimal side effects.
- Recommended for maintenance to prevent the development of periodontal and peri-implant diseases in patients at risk:
- Those with cardiovascular disease and gum problems.
- Those at risk of infection: immunocompromised patients, patients being treated with chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy, etc.
