* There are three model types for comfortably cleaning the different parts of the mouth and nine sizes, ranging from 0.6 mm to 2.2 mm PHD (Passage Hole Diameter) or the minimum space needed for the brush to be inserted.
* The brush head shape can be cylindrical, for brushing incisors or canines (anterior region) or conical, for interdental cleaning of molars and premolars (posterior region).
* Interprox® brushes are not disposable. They are meant to be used daily until filaments show signs of wear.
* 68% of the people who perform interproximal cleaning do so by dental recommendation, and 40% of these, because of periodontal, orthodontic or implant-related problems(2).
* Interprox® brushes contain a polyurethane coated wire for greater protection of teeth and gums.
* Interprox® contains filaments of two colours: white, to detect bleeding, and black, to detect plaque. Bleeding is normally due to gingival inflammation, which diminishes with regular use of interproximal hygiene tools.
* The new Interprox® do not have memory effect; in other words, if they are bent, they do not return to their original position automatically, and can therefore be used without having to press to keep the form.
• Interprox® brushes are manufactured in a fully automated manner without any manual handling, ensuring total product asepsis.
• Their manufacturing process is carried out on site at DENTAID with an innovative production technology.
• DENTAID has been in the interproximal cleaning market with the Interprox® range for over 25 years.
• Interprox® is interproximal brush market leader with 73% market share(3).
• Interprox® is represented in over 60 countries(4).
• In Spain more than 10,500,000 Interprox® brushes are sold.
